Active Living Choir 

11:15 am – 12:45 pm.

A fun and engaging singing session for all ages, led by star choir master Ashley Mellor. Suitable for anyone wanting to sing and enjoy music. In addition, the Group has a fortnightly meeting on Thursday mornings from 10:00 am  - 11:00 a.m. for its "Hooping" class.

Tuesday

Line Dance Classes - every Tuesday morning!

10.00 a.m. till 12.00 p.m

Learn to dance to country, Latin, and pop with all styles taught—cha-cha, waltz, two-step, and more. Classes are led by Joyce Plaskett, an accredited IDTA instructor with 19+ years’ experience. It’s not all footwork—there’s a tea break and a friendly natter too. Come along and give it a go.

Cost: £7 per person .

Tuesday

Keikoba Shukokai Karate & Self-defence training every

6.30 p.m. till 7.30 p.m and also 7.30 p.m. till 8.30 p.m.

Karate and self-defence classes for children (6 years+), teenagers, adults, and families. Beginners are welcome, with the first four lessons free.

2nd Tuesday of each month

Tea, Coffee, Cakes & Conversations

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Active Living Group's monthly "Tea, Coffee, Cakes and Conversation" meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month in the main hall. The programme includes "Fun Mobility" easy exercise session, "Chat Time" topical discussions and guest presenters on a wide range of subjects. A chance to meet up with friends old and new, find new interests, and enjoy great homemade cake!

Wednesday

Stay & Play (Baldwins Gate & Whitmore)

9:30 am – 11:30 am (Term-time only).

A relaxed environment for parents, carers, and grandparents to meet while children enjoy play and craft activities.

Cost: £4 for the first child, £1 for each additional child.

Pilates

11:15 am.

Michelle Landon's 25 years of experience in teaching pilates brings a mind and body exercise programme. Focusing on balance, posture, alignment, strength, flexibility and freedom of movement. The class is for all abilities.

2nd Friday of each month

Women’s Institute (WI)

7 pm.

Whitmore and Maer Women’s Institute meets on the second Friday of each month at 7.00 pm in the Main Hall inside Whitmore Village Hall. We are a friendly group of women with a varied programme of speakers, social activities, and outings. New members and visitors aged 18 and over are always welcome!
